Using Pacpoints is easy and can be done in three simple steps:

Registering for Pacpoints is quick and simple! Once you have created an online account with Primepac, all you need to do is go to the “MY ACCOUNT” section of the website and click on the green “JOIN NOW” button. When you have done this you will be signed up to Pacpoints and you can start earning every time you shop online!

Yes you can. Primepac offers free overnight delivery to urban addresses nationwide. However, if you would prefer to pick your order up from one of our dispatch centres, you are welcome to do so. There are two ways you can let us know you want to pick up your order:

• Select the “Pick up” option in our online checkout, where you can select which of our two branches you want to collect your goods from (Auckland or Christchurch). Please allow 2 hours for us to process your order for pickup.
• If you are emailing or calling your order through, simply let one of our customer care team know you would like to collect your goods.

Please note: your order must be placed before it is picked up as we do not have payment facilities on site.

Primepac has two distribution centres in New Zealand:

• Our North Island Distribution Centre is located in Auckland at45 Noel Burnside, Wiri, Auckland.
• Our South Island Distribution Centre is located in Christchurch at 11 Braeburn Drive, Hornby.

Primepac also has a printroom located in Timaru – this is where all our custom printed tapes and rippa lables are printed.

Primepac offers FREE overnight shipping for all orders placed before 5pm to urban addresses. If you are based in Auckland or Christchurch, we may be able to deliver your order the same day as it is placed in one of our Primepac delivery vans!

For rural delivery please allow 2-5 working days.

Primepac offers FREE overnight shipping to all urban addresses nationwide! If your order is placed before 5pm, we will dispatch it that same day.

For rural address we charge a small fee of $4.95 per order – please note regulations prevent us from delivering dangerous goods to some rural addresses.

Polyprop Strapping

Is suitable for general purpose packaging, such as strapping boxes or products together. This strapping is available in a range of break strains depending on your application.

Steel Strapping 

Suitable for heavy duty industrial applications, such as packaging timber and engineering products. This strapping has available in a range of strengths and breaking strains.

PET Strapping

This is an alternative to steel strapping, it is safer to apply, strong, lightweight and can be easily recycled.

Polywoven Strapping

Is another alternative to steel strapping, it has similar break strains to steel strapping but is lightweight, safer to use, easy to cut and tension and there is no rust. This product is used extensively throughout the timber industry.

• For 90% of applications, cast stretch film is the most suitable. It’s easy to use and performs well. We recommend Easywrap.
• For heavy loads or irregular shaped pallets we recommend Powerwrap, it is more puncture resistant.
• For extra security or temperature sensitive products, we recommend security wrap. This black or white coloured wrap conceals your goods while in transit (helping to prevent theft) and white wrap is good for temperature sensistive products as it helps reflect the sun.
• For light weight pallets you can use a pre-stretched film. Prestretch film rolls are lighter & easier to carry and use. They are however not suitable for wrapping heavy pallets.
• For products that need to breathe during transit, we recommend Net Wrap. This wrap will also hold pallets tight, for maximum containment of unsteady loads.

Depending on what you use packaging tape for & the environment you work in, some tapes will work better than others.

Polyprop tape with acrylic adhesive
Good for normal or low temperatures & cold storage, dry surfaces. Usually lowest cost per roll.

Polyprop tape with Hot Melt Adhesive
Great for general purpose carton sealing, stronger than most acrylic adhesives.

Polyprop tape with Rubber Adhesive
The best for recycled cardboard. Rubber adhesives are the strongest in normal temperatures.

Vinyl with Rubber Adhesive
Vinyl tapes are heavy duty with higher breaking strengths, ideal for taping heavy items or boxes.

Make sure you store your packaging tapes in a dry place out of direct sunlight & be careful when you open cartons not to cut into the rolls inside.
